Four Filipino Singers to Represent UAE at Prestigious ‘I-Sing World’ Competition in Toronto

Dubai, UAE – August 2025 — Four exceptionally talented Filipino vocalists will proudly represent the United Arab Emirates at the globally renowned I-Sing World Singing Competition, taking place in Toronto, Canada, from August 12 to 15, 2025.

Meet the UAE’s Delegates

• Dr. Rommel Pilapil Sergio – A respected academic and musician, Dr. Sergio is a professor and former Associate Dean at Canadian University Dubai. Beyond academia, he is a recording artist with cover tracks available on major streaming platforms, and he recently starred in the original Filipino musical Kalayaan at Pag-ibig.
• Kirstin Reyes (12) – A gifted singer, dancer, model, and actress, Kirstin has graced major fashion runways, including We Are One and the International Designer League. She is also gearing up to compete at WCOPA 2026.
• Zairah Alexine Ragat (12) – A multi-award-winning performer, Zairah secured Gold Medals in Broadway, Self-Accompaniment, and Gospel categories at WCOPA 2024 in Hollywood, where she was also a Grand Finalist. Her talents span musical theatre, live performances, and fashion shows.
• Celine Madison Mantondo (10) – A musical prodigy since the age of three, Celine captivated audiences by winning Safa British School’s Got Talent at eight. She continues to excel in both academics and cultural performances.

Send-Off Concert Showcases UAE’s Multicultural Talent

On July 25, Canadian University Dubai hosted a lively Send-Off Concert in honor of the four delegates. The event featured a variety of performances from artists representing Venezuela, South Africa, India, China, and other nations. Led by vocal coach and national director Elipas Sibua of EMS Events and Entertainment Centre FZE, the celebration reflected the UAE’s vibrant and diverse artistic community.
